Microfine Carb (Calcium Carbonate)

A filler can not be used to the best of advantates in polymer unless there is a good adhesion between them.  In particular, the filler particle / polymer interface will note be stress bearing and therefore provides a point of mechanical weakness. Calcium stearate / Stearic acid surface is produced by chemical reaction with calcium carbonate substrate – (MICRO COATING PROCESS), hence the treatment is firmly bonded to the surface of the particle.  Thus it is not a physical coating or a mixture and therefore will neither wash off in processing nor segregate during process.

Advanages for Polymer

  • Rapid and complete dispersion
  • Very low abrasion at high loading
  • Very low moisture content
  • Good compatibility with polymers and other additives
  • Better impact strength with polymers and other additives
  • As compared to uncoated material
  • Increased production rate
  • Increased flow rate
  • Better HDT
  • Recommended Applications

  • PP Compounding (Automotive, Furniture , Crates)
  • Rigid PVC Pipes
  • Antifabrillliant additive Master batches for
  • PP & HDPE woven sacks
  • Additive Master batches for paper like LLDPE films
  • PVC Cable and other Compounds
  • PU foam and leather cloth
  • Reinforced Polyester glass fiber
  • SMS, DMC and Pultrussion
